Pick DripDM if
- You want to try the real product without a 7-day clock.
- One Instagram account and a keyword reply are the whole job, and $9 is enough once you outgrow 1,000 DMs.
- You want AI that answers from a knowledge note you wrote, with a visible credit balance, not an agent that books a calendar.
Pick BooSend if
- You want unlimited Instagram accounts on Creator at $29, against DripDM Business at $29 for 10 accounts.
- You want WhatsApp, Telegram, AI voice notes, or a long integration list.
- You want a CRM and a drag-and-drop builder in the same subscription as the DMs.
boosend.ai is a sales suite
BooSend’s pricing page leads with unlimited contacts and unlimited DMs, then AI agents, voice notes, and a CRM. Explorer is $15 a month for 1 Instagram account and 1 Facebook page. There is no $0 plan. The button says 7 days free.
DripDM Free is the opposite shape: a smaller allowance that does not expire, and no CRM. If you only need the comment keyword, you never have to start a trial to find out.
Read their Facebook line twice
The Explorer card lists Facebook Messenger and comment automation. A FAQ on the same pricing page says BooSend supports Instagram, WhatsApp, and Telegram, and that Facebook Messenger is planned. Both sentences are on boosend.ai. Believe the screen you see after you create the account, not a comparison table that has to pick one.
DripDM’s Facebook support is narrower and easier to state. Pages and Messenger rules start on Pro. Personal profiles and Groups are not supported.
AI is a different product in each tool
BooSend describes agents that use a calendar, send ElevenLabs voice notes, and update a sheet. That is a sales agent. DripDM Growth writes a reply from the goal, the instructions, and the knowledge note on the rule. It can be wrong. It does not book a call or look up an order.
BooSend publishes customer quotes on the pricing page. This comparison does not repeat them and does not add a rating.
The trial clock
Explorer’s button is a 7-day trial, then $15 a month. If you need a week to see a comment turn into a DM, that is enough time. If you need a month of a quiet account before the keyword is worth it, the trial ends first.
DripDM Free does not end. The cap is 1,000 DMs in the month, not seven days on the calendar. Move to Pro when the cap, or a Pro feature, is the thing in the way.
