The menu link, sent from the comment.

Comment MENU. The DM has the menu or the reservation link. The story can do the same job that night.

A restaurants flow

Keyword: MENU. The DM sends the menu or the reservation link.

The public reply can say the message is in their DMs. The link stays private.

What to turn on

Keep the DM to the link and the hours. A long menu in text is harder to tap than the URL.

  • A keyword for the menu and a second keyword for events.
  • A story rule on the day you post a special.
  • A Page on Pro for Facebook comments.

Pricing

Free is $0 for 1 account and 1,000 DMs a month. Pro is $9. Growth is $14 and adds AI. Business is $29 and adds 10 accounts, 5 seats, optional Sheets sync subject to provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads export is currently unavailable.

Serve the current menu before the conversation gets complicated

Use MENU for the current mobile-friendly menu and RESERVE for the booking page. Separate the words so a food Reel does not unexpectedly send an event application. Keep hours and location concise, and link to a maintained menu rather than copying a long list of changing prices into the DM. For a special event, scope a story response to that date and review it when the event ends. Facebook Page comments are a paid-plan entry point.

Allergy questions, dietary safety, large-party requests, and booking changes need staff judgment. A menu link cannot confirm ingredients or guarantee a reservation. Do not allow optional AI to invent substitutions or availability. Click tracking shows which campaign sent menu interest; the restaurant booking system determines actual covers. If you collect a phone number for a callback, explain the purpose and do not imply the guest has consented to promotional SMS.

Prepare a test before asking your audience

Connect an eligible professional Instagram account through Meta login, or a Facebook Page on Pro or above. Select the intended account before editing a rule. Confirm the destination opens on a phone and that the offer matches what the caption promises. Use a second, eligible account for a real trigger test; an editor preview cannot prove provider delivery.

Inspect the public reply, private message, and destination separately. A successful public reply does not prove that the DM was delivered. Keep a record of the test time and inspect activity when something fails. Check permissions and rule scope before repeatedly triggering the same recipient. Disable a stale campaign rather than leaving an expired offer running.

Select capacity without overpromising the product

Free includes one account, 1,000 DMs per month, 100 contacts, and 10 captured leads. Pro is $9 per month for three accounts and adds the follow gate, one follow-up nudge, scheduling, product cards, older-comment replay, and Facebook Pages. Growth is $14 for three accounts with 1,000 monthly AI credits. Business is $29 for ten accounts, five seats, and 2,500 AI credits. Paid messaging, contact, and lead quotas are uncapped in the plan configuration; Meta restrictions still apply. Sheets is a Business entitlement and needs provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads audience export is disabled, including on Business.

A comment can qualify for one private reply, subject to Meta eligibility and time limits. It does not itself open a general 24-hour conversation window. The recipient must reply before ordinary follow-up messaging can use that window. A link click or a new follow is not a substitute for an inbound message. Delivery also depends on account permissions, token health, recipient settings, and provider rate limits.

Questions

No. The link hands off to the reservation system, and staff must confirm availability and food-safety questions.
