Answer the comment without sitting in the inbox.
A local business can send hours, a menu, or a booking link from one keyword. The free plan covers a single Instagram account.
3 minute read
A small business flow
Keyword: INFO. The DM sends hours, a menu, or a booking link.
The public reply can say the message is in their DMs. The link stays private.
What to turn on
Start with one keyword. Add a second rule when the first one has a week of taps.
- One account on the free plan.
- A Page on Pro if customers also comment on Facebook.
- Phone capture when the front desk needs a number.
Pricing
Free is $0 for 1 account and 1,000 DMs a month. Pro is $9. Growth is $14 and adds AI. Business is $29 and adds 10 accounts, 5 seats, optional Sheets sync subject to provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads export is currently unavailable.
Automate the repeated link, keep the judgment
Pick the one request staff type most often: a service list, a menu, or a booking page. Use a word that names that request instead of INFO if the business has several offers. Test the rule on one post, or set Watch to the next post, before you apply it to every post. Keep address and hours at an authoritative destination and explain whether a link lets a person book immediately or only submit an inquiry. Add a Facebook Page on Pro if customers already ask there.
Do not use a short automated response to promise services outside your actual area or staff availability. Route unusual questions to a person and inspect the correct account in the inbox. Free capacity includes contact and captured-lead limits as well as DMs; a remaining send allowance does not mean unlimited storage. A second location may require additional account capacity. Measure fewer repeated replies as an operational benefit, not guaranteed new revenue.
Prepare a test before asking your audience
Connect an eligible professional Instagram account through Meta login, or a Facebook Page on Pro or above. Select the intended account before editing a rule. Confirm the destination opens on a phone and that the offer matches what the caption promises. Use a second, eligible account for a real trigger test; an editor preview cannot prove provider delivery.
Inspect the public reply, private message, and destination separately. A successful public reply does not prove that the DM was delivered. Keep a record of the test time and inspect activity when something fails. Check permissions and rule scope before repeatedly triggering the same recipient. Disable a stale campaign rather than leaving an expired offer running.
Select capacity without overpromising the product
Free includes one account, 1,000 DMs per month, 100 contacts, and 10 captured leads. Pro is $9 per month for three accounts and adds the follow gate, one follow-up nudge, scheduling, product cards, older-comment replay, and Facebook Pages. Growth is $14 for three accounts with 1,000 monthly AI credits. Business is $29 for ten accounts, five seats, and 2,500 AI credits. Paid messaging, contact, and lead quotas are uncapped in the plan configuration; Meta restrictions still apply. Sheets is a Business entitlement and needs provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads audience export is disabled, including on Business.
A comment can qualify for one private reply, subject to Meta eligibility and time limits. It does not itself open a general 24-hour conversation window. The recipient must reply before ordinary follow-up messaging can use that window. A link click or a new follow is not a substitute for an inbound message. Delivery also depends on account permissions, token health, recipient settings, and provider rate limits.
Questions
No. Prove one useful request with a real delivery test, then add a second workflow when you can maintain its offer and response.
Yes. The free plan does not ask for a card. Upgrade when you need more accounts, the follow gate, or AI.
No. You connect with Meta’s official login. DripDM does not take the password.
Read requests that fall outside the published offer, verify details in your own business system, and confirm the final outcome there. Automation delivers information; it does not replace professional judgment or an external booking process.
