What free includes
Free is $0. It is not a 7-day trial and it does not ask for a card. You get 1 Instagram account, 1,000 DMs a month, 100 contacts, and 10 captured leads.
The triggers on Free are Comment keyword, Story reply, and DM keyword. You also get click tracking. The first DM to a contact includes the line “Automated with dripdm.com.” Paid plans remove that line.
The free bio page
Every plan includes a hosted link-in-bio page. Free shows a DripDM footer on that page. Pro removes the footer and adds link scheduling and SEO fields. You do not need a second bio product to put one link in the profile.
Put the evergreen links on the bio page: the offer, the booking URL, the one resource that is always true. Put the post-specific link in the keyword DM, so the Reel about the checklist does not dump people on a generic page.
Calculators, if that is the other kind of free
DripDM also has browser calculators and draft helpers for engagement rate, captions, and UTM links. They run in the browser. They do not post to Instagram and they do not send those inputs to a campaign. The directory is the tools page.
What free does not include: the follow gate, the nudge, scheduling, Facebook Pages, product cards, old-comment replay, and AI. Those start at Pro ($9) or Growth ($14 for AI). Scraping followers is not on any plan.
A free setup you can finish today
Create the account, connect Instagram with Meta login, and open Automations. New rule, Comment keyword, a keyword you will print in the next caption, Match set to Contains, Watch set to Next post or Reel.
Write the DM with one link. Review and launch, then publish the post. Comment from a second account. If the DM arrives, the free tool did the job. If it does not, read the activity on the rule before you buy a plan.
