Facebook use case
Keep the Page inquiry with the staff member who can answer it.
A fixed Messenger rule handles a defined request. When the visitor asks something more specific, staff can open the selected Page account in DripDM and read the conversation before replying.

Make the handoff understandable
A restaurant rule may deliver the reservation page, but a guest can then ask about a large party or a changed booking. Staff should read that request in context and check the reservation system before responding. An automated link is not a confirmed table. Use copy that acknowledges what the visitor requested rather than pretending that a staff member personally typed the first response.
Pause automation for the thread when manual handling needs to continue without another rule firing. Inspect that state before resuming normal automation. A pause is a conversation control, not a replacement for an agent staffing policy. Assign a person to check unresolved inquiries and keep the business system as the source for confirmed outcomes.
Select the Page before touching the thread
DripDM displays the inbox for one selected account at a time. Verify the Page identity before opening the recipient, composing a reply, or reviewing a scheduled message. A shared workspace is not an aggregated omnichannel queue. A business managing several Pages needs an account-by-account review routine rather than assuming one visible list includes every inquiry.
Business includes five seats and ten connected accounts. That capacity does not promise unlimited agents, automatic assignment, helpdesk service-level reporting, or client white-label portals. Decide who handles each Page, who may edit live rules, and who reviews personal contact data. Test manual access on the intended account before telling clients that every staff member has the same view.
Reply while the conversation is eligible
A comment can qualify for one private reply, subject to Meta eligibility and time limits. It does not itself open a general 24-hour conversation window. The recipient must reply before ordinary follow-up messaging can use that window. A link click or a new follow is not a substitute for an inbound message. Delivery also depends on account permissions, token health, recipient settings, and provider rate limits.
A visible thread and a saved contact are not permanent sending permission. Inspect eligibility before writing a follow-up. Pro scheduling can queue a message within the supported horizon, but a closed window prevents normal due delivery. For a later event, offer an appropriate email or booking route with explicit permission instead of relying on a future DM to bypass the window.
Test the full staff workflow
Use a second eligible Messenger account to request the resource, reply with a realistic exception, and verify that staff can find the correct thread. Test pause and manual handling deliberately. Confirm final bookings, refunds, and other consequential actions in your external system, not from a message status. If Meta permissions or token health block delivery, report that problem instead of calling the handoff complete.
Free includes one account, 1,000 DMs per month, 100 contacts, and 10 captured leads. Pro is $9 per month for three accounts and adds the follow gate, one follow-up nudge, scheduling, product cards, older-comment replay, and Facebook Pages. Growth is $14 for three accounts with 1,000 monthly AI credits. Business is $29 for ten accounts, five seats, and 2,500 AI credits. Paid messaging, contact, and lead quotas are uncapped in the plan configuration; Meta restrictions still apply. Sheets is a Business entitlement and needs provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads audience export is disabled, including on Business.
