A Facebook Page connected to DripDM follows the same idea as Instagram. Reply after the person contacts the Page. Do not treat a scheduled send as a way around a closed thread.

Track the Page conversation, not Instagram activity
A Facebook Page and an Instagram account are separate messaging identities even when the same business owns them. An Instagram interaction does not establish permission to send a Messenger message to that person. Work from the Page conversation and its latest eligible inbound interaction. A comment can permit a private reply, but the private reply itself is not an unrestricted conversation window. The person must respond before you rely on ordinary follow-up messaging.
A workflow to try
For a restaurant Page, an ice breaker can invite the person to ask for the menu. When they choose the question, the business receives an initiating interaction and can answer in Messenger. Deliver the menu and reservation destination early rather than queueing a promotion for a week later. If a person entered from a comment and never replied privately, keep that separate from someone who actually asked a Messenger question. The two contacts have not taken the same messaging step.
Checks before you change the setup
A scheduled send remains subject to eligibility at its actual dispatch time. Do not use reminders, ice breakers, reconnection, or a paid subscription as a bypass. Page tools can offer specialized platform features, but this guide does not promise that DripDM implements every tag or out-of-window program available in Meta documentation. Read the relevant failure result and stop an ineligible sequence rather than repeatedly changing its text.
Check the whole Page thread before scheduling
A Page operator should read the latest eligible interaction and the intended follow-up purpose together. An old inquiry about a menu does not make a new event promotion appropriate simply because the workspace contains the contact. If the person starts a fresh conversation, answer that request directly. Keep a clear note when a scheduled message is held, and check account or ownership errors separately from timing. Do not imply support-only tags or special out-of-window programs are available unless the implemented product and current permissions establish them. The safest useful design delivers value early and lets the guest choose to continue the conversation.

Do not assume cross-channel permission. Check the connected Page and the Messenger conversation separately. A shared DripDM workspace makes management easier, but it does not combine Meta’s recipient identities or convert Instagram contact into an unrestricted Page messaging audience.
Do not assume eligibility. A comment permits a private reply, while ordinary follow-ups require a recipient response and an active standard window. A future schedule does not reserve permission after that window closes.
