Preserve business channels outside DripDM’s scope

A business evaluating Interakt can have Instagram and other messaging channels in the same customer journey. Identify each required channel before comparing prices. DripDM’s supported Instagram and Page rules do not add an SMS or WhatsApp sender merely because a captured phone number exists.

Use one controlled campaign in both products

Run an Instagram product request and inspect its private reply. List any required external-channel notification, staff queue, or order operation as a separate test. Verify the vendor’s current offering for those needs. In DripDM, a parsed phone value is a stored contact detail, not proof of ownership or permission to contact it elsewhere.

• Record the account, event, expected response, and destination.
• Use separate test periods so two tools do not answer the same live request.
• Include one exception that requires a person, not only the happy path.

Compare the bill for that exact job

Record Interakt’s current checkout amount, billing period, account slots, seats, and relevant usage units. Then price the same campaign in DripDM. Current monthly prices are Free $0, Pro $9, Growth $14, and Business $29. Extra channels, integrations, taxes, or external services belong in the comparison too.

Free includes one Instagram account and 1,000 monthly DMs. Pro and Growth include three connected accounts; Business includes ten accounts and five seats. Optional AI has its own credits. Paid usage removes DripDM’s plan caps, not Meta delivery restrictions. Confirm checkout rather than treating an advertised starting price as your final total.

Know which data and operations stay elsewhere

Write down the data you need from Interakt before changing access. DripDM does not promise a universal import of flow canvases, historical messages, CRM records, or transactions. A captured contact and a CSV file are not a completed migration. Preserve the systems required for bookings, support, commerce, and consent.

External copies need their own access and deletion handling. Business Sheets sync requires configured provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads audience export is currently unavailable. A plan flag or old integration code does not enable uploads. Keep these limits visible when the comparison informs a purchase.

Test platform permission independently of price

An eligible comment private reply and an ordinary conversation are different permission paths. A comment alone does not open the standard reply window. The recipient must respond before ordinary follow-up messaging uses it. A click, a follow, or your own outgoing message does not replace that inbound response.

Check account authority, available permissions, connection health, recipient eligibility, and timing for each test. Official API use is not a Meta approval badge or a guarantee against restrictions. Avoid using another account or repeated retries to bypass an enforcement decision.

Choose replacement, complement, or no change

Use DripDM for the tested social entry point when that is sufficient. Keep other authorized business-channel systems for their actual responsibilities. Avoid a migration that reduces the customer journey to one DM while leaving essential support or consent handling unowned.

Record the reason for the choice and the result of the test. A working current setup does not need replacing solely because another product has a shorter headline. Confirm billing cancellation separately from disconnecting an app, and keep a reversible cutover until the replacement handles the required recipient experience.
