Planning rate for one post

$200

Estimate: ($20 per 1,000 followers) × (your rate ÷ 3%). Shops, agencies, and coaches use a higher factor here. Brands do not owe this number. It is a starting point for a quote.

How to read the result

Brands do not owe this number. It is a starting quote you can edit by changing the inputs.

The tool runs in your browser. It does not send the numbers to DripDM.

Treat the estimate as a quoting model

Enter followers, an engagement percentage, and a niche. The implemented model starts at $20 per 1,000 followers, scales by engagement relative to 3%, and applies a minimum engagement multiplier of 0.4. Shops and agencies use a 1.3 niche factor; coaches use 1.2; the other listed categories use 1. These are tool assumptions, not observed sponsor rates or an Instagram payout schedule. The result is a starting estimate for one post, expressed in USD.

Using the inputs and result

Use a typical engagement sample rather than a single exceptional Reel, and state whether the quote covers only creation and publication. Then build your actual proposal around scope: format, revisions, usage period, paid amplification rights, exclusivity, delivery date, and approval process. Those contract terms are not inputs in this widget and may matter more than follower count. Keep the formula separate from your final negotiated amount so a sponsor understands why the complete quote can differ.

Limits and result checks

A result is not proof that a brand should pay that amount or that you will earn it. The tool does not inspect audience geography, reach, authenticity, or purchase intent. Check the niche and percentage if the estimate surprises you, and use zero or missing follower data as a reason to revisit the inputs rather than quote a fallback. Compare the model with your own completed work where available. Do not present an illustrative default as a customer earning statistic or guaranteed rate.

Turn the result into a transparent proposal

Write that the widget uses an illustrative follower-and-engagement model, then state your actual proposed fee and scope separately. Describe publication format, revision rounds, and rights rather than suggesting the result is money owed by Instagram. If the brand asks for performance expectations, provide relevant observed evidence with its limits instead of inventing a conversion guarantee. A clear quote can differ from the model because real production and usage requirements differ; the calculator is a starting reference, not a substitute for negotiation or an agreement.
