Guide
Business Suite limits are not DripDM’s caps.
Meta Business Suite can offer a built-in comment reply with its own limits. DripDM does not use that screen. It uses the official API on the connected Page or Instagram account.

What to compare
If you turn on both, you can double-reply. Pick one system for a given keyword.
DripDM’s free cap is 1,000 DMs a month. Paid plans do not cap DMs. Meta can still rate-limit the API.
A workflow to try
If one simple keyword and one stable message meet the need, evaluate the built-in option before moving the workflow. If the business needs DripDM lead capture, link-tap tracking, Page and Instagram account management, or paid workflow features, test those requirements directly. Choose one responder for the same keyword during the test. Save the old configuration before disabling it so the team can restore it if the replacement is not ready.
Checks before you change the setup
Two systems answering one comment can create confusing public replies, use an already-claimed private-reply opportunity, or complicate conversation control. That does not mean every dual-tool setup is inherently broken; the scopes and ownership need to be intentional. Distinguish missing delivery from a closed follow-up window. Neither built-in automation nor DripDM grants an unsolicited Messenger sequence merely because someone follows the Page or comments once.
Move one overlapping workflow before moving the account
Pick a single keyword and post for the transition. Save the existing Suite response, disable only that overlap where appropriate, and enable the DripDM equivalent. Test a fresh independent event and inspect both public and private outcomes. Keep unrelated Page operations unchanged so the team can identify the effect of this migration. If the new response is not ready, restore the prior known configuration instead of layering both responders together. A side-by-side comparison should assess the actual required features and maintenance process, not assume every built-in limitation applies identically to an API app or that a paid app bypasses the platform.
Questions
Yes, for any keyword DripDM also answers. Two tools on one keyword confuse the thread owner.
No. Coordinate only the overlapping messaging workflows and conversation ownership. You may still use Business Suite for other Page tasks. Turn off duplicate responders for the keyword being tested, preserve the prior setup, and verify a fresh eligible interaction before moving the rest of the campaign.
No. Compare the current Suite interface and DripDM plan separately. Both still operate under relevant platform policies, and neither product’s allowance guarantees that a particular recipient or follow-up is eligible.
