Guide
Page rules, from Pro up.
Connect a Facebook Page on Pro or above. Comment keywords, Messenger keywords, ice breakers, and lead capture use the same workspace as Instagram.

Allowed jobs
Stay on events the Page receives.
- Public reply plus a Messenger message for a comment keyword. Watch every post, one existing post, or the next post.
- A keyword reply inside Messenger.
- Ice breaker questions for a new chat.
- Email or phone capture in the thread.
Build for a Page with an identifiable request
Facebook automation in DripDM is Page messaging, not a tool for personal profiles or Groups. Pick the Page account when creating the rule and make the public invitation clear. A Page comment rule uses the same Watch choices: every post, one existing post, or the next post. Turn a next-post rule on before you publish, then open Automations to attach it. An eligible comment can lead to a private reply; a Messenger keyword or an ice-breaker choice starts inside the Page messaging path. The official API still determines what can be sent. Do not treat the size of the Page follower list as a permitted broadcast audience.
A workflow to try
A local service can publish a Page post offering a service-area checklist under the keyword AREA. The opening reply delivers the requested information and asks whether the person wants help choosing a booking route. A real response allows a conversation while the standard window is open. If email or phone capture is enabled, explain the purpose and ask only for necessary information. A personal-profile comment and an Instagram Reel comment require different rules and are not substitutes for the Page event.
Checks before you change the setup
Before launch, review access to the Page, subscription entitlement, rule scope, and any Business Suite or helpdesk automation answering the same word. Use an independent test profile and inspect message requests as well as the main Messenger inbox. Do not remove a teammate’s integration without coordination. If Meta shows a policy notice, resolve that notice through Meta rather than making more rules. Official connectivity does not mean unrestricted sending or guaranteed account safety.
Review the Page identity in every reused campaign
When adapting an Instagram campaign for Facebook, check the Page name, Watch choice, wording, destination, and team ownership rather than copying the rule blindly. A Page comment rule uses the same three choices, including the next post. A Page can serve a different location or audience with different service information. Keep the invitation consistent with what Messenger delivers. Test a profile not acting as the Page, then inspect the resulting private thread. If a campaign captures data, confirm the intended lead destination and access permissions. This review step is especially important when the same workspace holds several clients or branches, because a valid rule on the wrong Page can still send the wrong offer.
Questions
No. Connect a Page. DripDM does not automate a personal profile.
Yes as an editorial starting point, but create and test the rule on the Page itself. Update platform references, the destination link, and the customer expectation. An Instagram account connection alone does not authorize DripDM to process Page comments or send Messenger replies.
Identify duplicate keyword responders and conversation ownership before launch. Preserve current configurations and involve the support team in routing changes. A Page comment rule uses the same Watch choices, including the next post. Multiple tools need intentional scopes rather than competing to answer the same event.
