Tips that match how DripDM works.
The tips are about keywords, public replies, taps, and the follow gate.
3 minute read
- Put one keyword in the caption and use that same keyword in the automation.
- Reply in public so other people see that you answer.
- Ask for the follow before the link only when the offer is worth it. That gate is on Pro.
- Send one reminder if they do not tap. It stops when they reply.
- Track the link. A high comment count with no taps means the DM is the problem.
- Use a story reply rule on the days you post a story with a question.
How to read the result
They are not a promise of follower growth. The product does not buy followers.
The tool runs in your browser. It does not send the numbers to DripDM.
Use the tips as workflow experiments, not growth promises
The widget presents a fixed set of tips about clear keywords, public acknowledgment, requested links, optional gates, reminders, and story rules. It does not analyze your account or predict follower growth. Choose a tip that addresses a specific friction in the customer journey. A clearer keyword can make the request easier to understand; a maintained destination can make the handoff useful. Neither establishes a guaranteed audience increase.
Using the inputs and result
Start with an ungated resource flow and test it from an independent account. Confirm the keyword, public response, private message, and destination before adding a Pro gate or reminder. If trying the gate, disclose the follow request in the public offer and compare it with the simpler baseline. If trying a reminder, inspect recipient response and the messaging window before assuming the timer authorizes another send. Apply one change at a time so the observed result can inform the next decision.
Limits and result checks
Do not interpret low taps as proof that the private copy is the only problem. Delivery eligibility, request visibility, the public invitation, and the landing page can all affect the outcome. A follow or link tap does not open ordinary follow-up permission. Avoid bought followers, scraping, auto-follow activity, and unsolicited DMs; those are not DripDM growth features. Keep the experiment record focused on actual requests and outcomes instead of repeating a tip as if it were a measured case study.
Keep a before-and-after change record
Record the working invitation and handoff, the one tip applied, and how you will observe the relevant outcome. Preserve the simple baseline if a gate or reminder is added. Note external changes such as a new offer or different distribution so they do not become invisible causes. A useful experiment may lead you to remove friction rather than add automation. Treat the result as evidence about that campaign under those conditions, not as proof that the same tip guarantees growth for every account or audience.
Questions
No. Copy the result into your caption, bio, or a DripDM rule.
No. They are practical workflow suggestions, not a forecast or a customer result. Test a relevant change, observe the requested action, and keep platform eligibility and customer expectations intact. Follower changes alone do not prove that a gate or automation caused growth.
No. A follow gate and reminder need the relevant paid entitlement, while core keyword workflows can fit Free. Check the specific plan and recipient eligibility before treating a suggested experiment as an available action.
