Error 2534022: check the message context.
Meta’s Messenger error list maps code 10 with subcode 2534022 to “This message is sent outside of allowed window.”

What DripDM does
Scheduled sends and nudges are held when the last inbound message is too old. You may see WINDOW_LAPSED in the inbox.
The fix is to wait until the person messages again, or to send only while the window is open. Reconnecting the account does not reopen a closed window.
Read the call context alongside the subcode
Meta documents this subcode as an outside-window rejection. In an existing conversation, compare the failed send with the latest inbound message. If the person never responded to the first comment-led private reply, there may never have been a standard messaging window to use. Reachlee also reports recipient-setting failures with this subcode on first private replies, but that is its operational observation, not a reason to assume the same diagnosis for every DripDM failure.
A workflow to try
Suppose the initial guide link arrived after someone commented GUIDE, but a later reminder was rejected. Check whether that person replied in the thread. If they only clicked the URL, the second send has not earned the ordinary conversation permission. Stop that sequence and let a fresh inbound message establish the window. If the very first private reply fails instead, preserve the event and error details so comment eligibility, recipient availability, and message format can be investigated separately.
Checks before you change the setup
Do not reconnect repeatedly or move the scheduled time around without checking the cause. Authentication changes cannot create a message from the recipient. The broad code 10 appears in other permission-related errors, so retain both code and subcode. When a rejection affects only a specific person, avoid treating it as evidence that every automation on the account is broken. A support report should distinguish first private reply, later DM, and scheduled dispatch.
A useful support note names the exact send stage
Describe the failed operation as opening private reply, ordinary reply after a recipient response, or scheduled follow-up. Include the connected account, event time, latest known inbound time, and visible rejection. Do not send tokens or passwords. This distinction is essential because the same headline window message can invite an incorrect fix when the original event was a comment rather than a DM. If the first message reached the person, preserve that result too. A support investigation should establish the permission state and call context before asserting a recipient privacy diagnosis or changing a campaign’s timing.
Questions
The code is 10, which also appears on permission errors. Read the subcode. 2534022 is the window, not a missing login scope.
Not by itself. The documented outside-window meaning is the starting point, while first-private-reply failures need event context. Reachlee describes an additional recipient-side pattern, but this review did not reproduce that pattern on a live DripDM account. Do not claim a confirmed privacy diagnosis without evidence.
No. Scheduling changes timing, not inbound contact. Check whether the recipient ever responded and whether the standard window was active at dispatch. A first private-reply rejection needs its own context rather than a blanket timing diagnosis.
