Deliver the file link the moment they comment.

The keyword sends the checkout or the download. A reminder on Pro pings people who never tap.

A digital product sellers flow

Keyword: GUIDE. The DM sends the checkout or download link.

The public reply can say the message is in their DMs. The link stays private.

What to turn on

The free plan stores 10 leads. Move to Pro before a launch if the list will pass that.

  • Comment to DM for the launch post.
  • Email capture before the link, if you want the list.
  • Product cards on Pro when you sell more than one file.

Pricing

Free is $0 for 1 account and 1,000 DMs a month. Pro is $9. Growth is $14 and adds AI. Business is $29 and adds 10 accounts, 5 seats, optional Sheets sync subject to provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads export is currently unavailable.

Keep delivery and payment separate

For a template launch, invite TEMPLATE comments and send the relevant checkout page, not an unrestricted paid-file URL. If the post is not live yet, choose Next post or Reel and turn the rule on before you publish. If the offer is a free sample, say that before asking for an email. Write the completion message to identify the sample version so customers can find it later. Pro cards can distinguish starter and full bundles, but the checkout system determines which files a buyer can access. Test the whole purchase journey independently of the automation.

Maintain download permissions in your commerce platform. DripDM is not a license manager, digital-file storage service, or payment processor. A nudge is useful only when an eligible conversation window exists; a comment-only private reply does not authorize a second message. Watch captured-lead capacity before launch, and never count a click as a purchase. Review refunds and product updates manually and change campaign text when the offer is no longer available.

Prepare a test before asking your audience

Connect an eligible professional Instagram account through Meta login, or a Facebook Page on Pro or above. Select the intended account before editing a rule. Confirm the destination opens on a phone and that the offer matches what the caption promises. Use a second, eligible account for a real trigger test; an editor preview cannot prove provider delivery.

Inspect the public reply, private message, and destination separately. A successful public reply does not prove that the DM was delivered. Keep a record of the test time and inspect activity when something fails. Check permissions and rule scope before repeatedly triggering the same recipient. Disable a stale campaign rather than leaving an expired offer running.

Select capacity without overpromising the product

Free includes one account, 1,000 DMs per month, 100 contacts, and 10 captured leads. Pro is $9 per month for three accounts and adds the follow gate, one follow-up nudge, scheduling, product cards, older-comment replay, and Facebook Pages. Growth is $14 for three accounts with 1,000 monthly AI credits. Business is $29 for ten accounts, five seats, and 2,500 AI credits. Paid messaging, contact, and lead quotas are uncapped in the plan configuration; Meta restrictions still apply. Sheets is a Business entitlement and needs provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads audience export is disabled, including on Business.

A comment can qualify for one private reply, subject to Meta eligibility and time limits. It does not itself open a general 24-hour conversation window. The recipient must reply before ordinary follow-up messaging can use that window. A link click or a new follow is not a substitute for an inbound message. Delivery also depends on account permissions, token health, recipient settings, and provider rate limits.
