SetSmart vs ManyChat: compare a complete workflow.
Appointment setting is not the same as sending a calendar A flow builder or a focused resource handoff? Begin with a real request and its destination, not a copied feature table.

The decision this particular comparison should resolve
Decide whether the desired outcome is a qualified, booked sales call or merely a delivered calendar link. Trial qualification, eligibility, and calendar action in the appropriate product if those are required. DripDM does not claim those autonomous actions. It can be a simpler resource handoff only when a person or booking system still owns the consequential decision.
SetSmart: Appointment setting is not the same as sending a calendar
Test a prospect who asks for a call but needs qualification before seeing available times. SetSmart describes an appointment-setter use case. DripDM can deliver an application or booking URL through a supported rule; it does not claim autonomous qualification or calendar booking. If the trial succeeds only because an agent schedules a call, that capability needs its own verified replacement.
Keep the qualification and calendar system in place unless another service demonstrably replaces it. Compare cost against a complete sales workflow, not against a link sender that performs a smaller job.
ManyChat: A flow builder or a focused resource handoff?
Draw a campaign with a keyword request, a resource link, and a human exception path. Then draw the separate multi-channel branches you actually need. ManyChat publishes an Instagram product and flow-builder approach; evaluate those branches in its own editor. In DripDM, reproduce the bounded comment, story, or inbound-keyword portion as explicit rules, not an imported canvas.
Do not compare an existing multi-channel business process with the price of one keyword sender. Preserve routing, consent records, and non-Instagram channels until a tested replacement exists.
Use the same acceptance test
Write down the trigger, selected account, media scope, exact request, expected public response, private destination, and any explicit capture step. Run a positive and negative test with an eligible second account. Inspect delivery activity rather than inferring it from a public reply. If a booking, sale, or form submission is the goal, verify that outcome in the external system separately.
Compare current checkout offers for the actual scope, including billing interval, currency, accounts, seats, contact capacity, messages, and AI usage. Pricing and tier gates for the other vendors remain unverified here; use their linked official sources and your own account. No winner is declared from third-party claims about missing features, fees, refunds, or plan ceilings.
Where DripDM is a suitable third option
Free includes one account, 1,000 DMs per month, 100 contacts, and 10 captured leads. Pro is $9 per month for three accounts and adds the follow gate, one follow-up nudge, scheduling, product cards, older-comment replay, and Facebook Pages. Growth is $14 for three accounts with 1,000 monthly AI credits. Business is $29 for ten accounts, five seats, and 2,500 AI credits. Paid messaging, contact, and lead quotas are uncapped in the plan configuration; Meta restrictions still apply. Sheets is a Business entitlement and needs provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads audience export is disabled, including on Business.
Choose the bounded DripDM workflow when the job is a requested Instagram or Page resource, explicit contact capture, tracked links, and a maintained bio page. Keep other channels, storefronts, CRMs, booking systems, or helpdesks where they perform a necessary task. Moving the first message does not automatically move the rest of the business process.
Switching and permission checks
A comment can qualify for one private reply, subject to Meta eligibility and time limits. It does not itself open a general 24-hour conversation window. The recipient must reply before ordinary follow-up messaging can use that window. A link click or a new follow is not a substitute for an inbound message. Delivery also depends on account permissions, token health, recipient settings, and provider rate limits.
Save rule definitions and authorized exports before disabling a live campaign. Recreate and test the supported subset, prevent overlapping production replies, and verify the downstream destination before changing access. Confirm subscription cancellation separately from social disconnection. Do not delete required records or unsupported workflows just to make the migration appear complete.

No account-specific quote or live tier matrix is asserted. Consult the official sources below and record the offer available to your own account.
No automatic import is promised. Recreate the supported rule and preserve historical data and other systems through an authorized manual process.
