LinkDM vs LinktoDM: compare a complete workflow.

Check the identity before comparing link delivery A similar name still needs its own campaign test Begin with a real request and its destination, not a copied feature table.

The decision this particular comparison should resolve

First identify the company and account you are actually using. Then test post scope, a story request, and the expected destination in each product independently. Never carry a refund rule, support address, or quota from LinkDM into LinktoDM merely because a search result mixed the names. DripDM is a third option for a bounded supported handoff.

LinktoDM: A similar name still needs its own campaign test

Create a post keyword for an offer, then a story request with a different destination. LinktoDM’s official setup guide distinguishes its Post, Story, and Chat areas. In DripDM, choose the supported trigger and scope directly and test negative matches. If you are moving from LinkDM instead, stop and confirm the product identity before copying terms or limits into the decision.

Contact capacity, message volume, and account allowance are different limits. Verify each in LinktoDM’s current plan rather than borrowing LinkDM numbers from a search result.

Use the same acceptance test

Write down the trigger, selected account, media scope, exact request, expected public response, private destination, and any explicit capture step. Run a positive and negative test with an eligible second account. Inspect delivery activity rather than inferring it from a public reply. If a booking, sale, or form submission is the goal, verify that outcome in the external system separately.

Compare current checkout offers for the actual scope, including billing interval, currency, accounts, seats, contact capacity, messages, and AI usage. Pricing and tier gates for the other vendors remain unverified here; use their linked official sources and your own account. No winner is declared from third-party claims about missing features, fees, refunds, or plan ceilings.

Where DripDM is a suitable third option

Free includes one account, 1,000 DMs per month, 100 contacts, and 10 captured leads. Pro is $9 per month for three accounts and adds the follow gate, one follow-up nudge, scheduling, product cards, older-comment replay, and Facebook Pages. Growth is $14 for three accounts with 1,000 monthly AI credits. Business is $29 for ten accounts, five seats, and 2,500 AI credits. Paid messaging, contact, and lead quotas are uncapped in the plan configuration; Meta restrictions still apply. Sheets is a Business entitlement and needs provider authorization. Direct Meta Ads audience export is disabled, including on Business.

Choose the bounded DripDM workflow when the job is a requested Instagram or Page resource, explicit contact capture, tracked links, and a maintained bio page. Keep other channels, storefronts, CRMs, booking systems, or helpdesks where they perform a necessary task. Moving the first message does not automatically move the rest of the business process.

Switching and permission checks

A comment can qualify for one private reply, subject to Meta eligibility and time limits. It does not itself open a general 24-hour conversation window. The recipient must reply before ordinary follow-up messaging can use that window. A link click or a new follow is not a substitute for an inbound message. Delivery also depends on account permissions, token health, recipient settings, and provider rate limits.

Save rule definitions and authorized exports before disabling a live campaign. Recreate and test the supported subset, prevent overlapping production replies, and verify the downstream destination before changing access. Confirm subscription cancellation separately from social disconnection. Do not delete required records or unsupported workflows just to make the migration appear complete.
